About Me
My Philosophy
My purpose and mission are to provide compassionate, faith-based doula care rooted in an understanding of physiological childbirth. As an experienced labor and delivery nurse, my work as a kingdom nurse doula is a calling. I'm dedicated to families in their unique journey to parenthood. This approach emphasizes the harmony of faith and the art of gentle birthing grounded in a biblical worldview of childbearing.

With everything being new and consistent input from other medical professionals, doula support in the moment helped ground us and keep us rooted in our faith and plans. Without our Doula, I think we may have felt more pressure to make decisions out of fear or defaulting to strictly medical advice.
Our Doula, Mama Cheryl was incredible. When she walked in the room my contractions had already begun and were quickening, so, most of that time my eyes were closed — but I just knew when she entered the room. She joined with my husband in prayer and reminded me all that I learned in her group while in the worst of my contractions and it brought us all great comfort. Who knew that it was possible to relax at such a time? She did and she helped me to do just what i thought I knew was impossible to do at the most impossible time. Breathing techniques, body relaxation, prayer and focus. All because the Lord sent her.

My experience with my doula Cheryl really was life changing. Although she was not at the hospital when I delivered her spiritual support covered me throughout my pregnancy, during labor, and post partum. My faith was increased and I felt a sense of peace and confidence going into labor. She educated me on Gods redemptive power and I got to experience it for myself delivering naturally.
